EURYDICE, the information network on education in Europe, consists of a European Unit and 35 National Units in most cases located within the education ministries of Network member countries. EURYDICE mainly publishes comparative studies and indicators on the functioning of education systems at all educational levels.

The post is based within the Eurydice European Unit and will involve assisting the coordinator of promotional strategy to carry out her various responsibilities concerned with developing and supporting Network promotional activity. The main duties will include administrative work during press campaigns, compiling press reviews, preparation and analysis of basic statistical material on use of the Network website and intranet, the preparation of website content, and project follow-up.

The successful applicant should have the following qualifications:

A degree, or other higher education qualification, in the field of communications (public relations, journalism, etc.);
Good organisational ability and discipline;
Excellent written English and French;
Proficiency in the use of basic software (Word, Excel);
Ability to work in a team.
He or she should be ready to take up the appointment in Brussels as soon as possible.
